Brian J. Ferry was born in Wilmington, Delaware and attended Salesianum School. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Delaware and graduated cum laude from Delaware Law School in 2012. During his time in law school, Brian was selected for the Widener Law Review and was recognized as a Widener Merit Scholar. Mr. Ferry has been nominated as a “Top Lawyer” for Delaware Today Magazine and has been regularly selected as a Delaware “Super Lawyer” and a Rising Star by the Super Lawyers Magazine.
Mr. Ferry has a wide array of experience in legal issues including estate planning, Wills, Trusts, health care directives, powers of attorney, guardianships, breach of contract, adverse possession, quiet title, LLC and corporation formation, business administration, estate foreclosures, sheriff sales, excess proceeds, Project Rightful Owner cases, and acting as local Delaware counsel.
Mr. Ferry specializes in litigation in the Court of Chancery and the Superior Court. He has argued dozens of trials in both Courts, particularly on the topics of estates, trusts, wills, and guardianships.
